Face it, ladies, you've compromised and agreed to go to "the game", whatever game it is, and the thing that is most problematic is eating the food in the arena. If you're going to the TD Garden, the solution is a Caesar Salad with Salmon, cooked as you like it, and an Espresso Martini at West End Johnie's. Man is happy with beer and/ir Fish & Chips, you are happy not eating whatever starch encapsulated protein passes as food at virtually any arena in the world.

Stopped in for Pregame dinner. Always a Great place for food and drinks. Greeted by the hostess and seated at the downstairs dining area where we sat at booth. Clean, well lit, rustic retro tavern.style decor with surrounded by some of Boston's famous nostalgic historic signs from yesteryear and televisions. Awesome! Nice big bar. Wait staff was excellent. Professional, attentive, friendly, polite and courteous. Ordered the Johnnie's House burger and house marinated steak tips. All were prepared perfectly and absolutely delicious. Best place to grab pregame meal and drinks before heading to the TD Garden and pay their prices. Highly recommend West End Johnnie's. Will definitely be back very soon.

West End Johnnies is a great spot to grab a beer and a bite to eat before a game at the Garden. We visited before a Celtics game. It wasn't nearly as crowded as the bar/restaurants on Causeway St and the food was great. The prices are high, but given the neighborhood, that's to be expected. Would definitely go back.

Went for brunch on a holiday before a bruins game. Food was above average, good drink selection and good service. Drinks were slightly overpriced, even for Boston

I love coming here to grab quality food & bevs before Bruins games. My group was seated in the downstairs lounge area, and it was a great vibe with a solid music playlist too. I tried the beet salad with grilled chicken and a skinny margarita to drink. The salad was actually so tasty with goat cheese and walnuts. Our service was SO quick which was great to get in and out before the game. Overall awesome experience here, will keep coming back!

The drinks were delicious. The food was good. The service was great. The music was great. The vibes were good. There's nothing to not like here. We sat at the bar and while I didn't get his name, the bartender with the goatee was so great in making my drink. He was helpful and friendly, and this place is overall great vibes.

Most Western spots give a dirty pub or bar vibe with bad drinks and subpar food, but West End Johnny's does a great job of making you feel like you're in a regular new American style restaurant instead of 5 feet from a giant stadium where tourists don't care what they eat or drink. Our group before ordered two of the burgers and two of the pineapple chicken sandwiches, which were all cooked perfectly and arrived, hot and swiftly. The butterfly chicken breast were very juicy and complimented the grilled pineapple perfectly. The fries were hot and crispy, although they could've done it a little bit more seasoning, which was easy with salt and pepper on the table. I'll definitely return anytime. I'm near the TF Garden again.

My review is based solely on my experience at reggae brunch. The music was very good! Overall ambiance was pretty good too 2 out of the 3 dishes we had we would have again Salad with salmon (5/5) because the salmon was large, cooked and flavored well Lobster blt Benedict - (4/5) very solid..a little shy on the lobster but flavorful Chicken and waffles (2/5) was not a fan of the chicken..the spicy syrup was good though Mimosa and the mimosa with tequila were both great! Service started off strong but took a bit of a dive. For example we only had one round of mimosas and by the time he came back around it was time to go.
